Carole Balala, Plum Blossom Farm
Carole truly fits the definition of a values-based passionate solo entreprneuer. Her farm in Northern California is home sheep, dogs, ducks and chickens, but the special Wensleydale sheep are the stars. No sheep ever outlive their usefulness and sold for slaughter. We worked on ways to use story to demonstrate her compassion for her animals and decided to put those animals front and center. Each animal has a story and these stories are then included on the products made from their wool.
